We're a tiny team and we read every message.

Getting started

• A parent creates the account and sets up a child profile (first name + age).
• Your child picks a buddy from the character screen.
• Tap the big voice button and start talking — that's it.
• Grant microphone permission when prompted; it's required for voice chat. Camera permission is only needed for the “show your buddy” feature.

Parent controls

• Set up your PIN: tap the gear icon (top right) → Set up PIN. All settings sit behind this PIN plus Face ID / Touch ID.
• Screen-time limits: set a daily time cap and allowed hours.
• Feature toggles: turn camera, songs, stories, or facts on or off individually.
• Conversation history: review every conversation your child has had.
• Multiple children: each child gets their own buddy, profile, and settings.

Troubleshooting

The buddy isn't responding

Voice features need an internet connection. Check your connection, make sure microphone permission is granted (device Settings → WimziPal), then fully close and reopen the app. Replies take 1–3 seconds after your child finishes speaking.

The 3D character is slow to load

On first launch the animated character can take up to a few seconds to load and a loading screen is shown — this is expected. It's much faster on later launches.

I forgot my parent PIN

Email support@wimzipal.com from the address on your account and we'll help you reset it.

Subscriptions & billing

• WimziPal is free to download with daily free voice chats, stories, and songs.
• Premium is $4.99/month or $29.99/year and unlocks all 16 buddies plus unlimited conversations.
• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Manage or cancel anytime in your store account settings.
• The free tier has per-feature daily limits; the upgrade screen appears automatically when a limit is reached, or via Settings → Upgrade.

Account & data

• Delete your account: Settings → Delete account removes all associated data. You can also email privacy@wimzipal.com.
• Export your data: email us and we'll send a copy within 30 days.
